Training in using Computers and the Internet

IT and computers are increasingly useful in supporting community groups in their work. IT training can

  • equip volunteers and workers in community groups with the skills they need to do their work more effectively,
  • help organisations reach and communicate with service users
  • provide knowledge and understanding of how IT can help groups work more efficiently
  • help the sector work together and understand how their clients can make use of technology
