The Compact

The Compact is an agreement between Government and the voluntary and community sector in England. It recognises shared values, principles and commitments and sets out guidelines for how both parties should work together.

On The Compact website, you can find out about the work of the key partners associated with the Compact, read about current policy and research work and the latest news, download useful documents and guidance, and share examples of good practice taking place in Local Compacts in England.
