Sustainable support and resources from local businesses

 

Brighton and Hove Business Community Partnership (BCP) assists third sector organisations to attract sustainable support and resources from local businesses such as:   A range of free services including: 

  • Business advice, web design, PR, architectural advice

  • Volunteer support

  • Business mentoring

  • Office space and equipment

BCP supports developing social enterprises by matching them with specific support from businesses and other partners, running workshops and development sessions, managing a network of local social enterprises and connecting social enterprises with learning institutions and business advisers.

 

This rich source of in-kind support raises the capacity of organisations and can be used as match funding.

The relationships and projects resulting from partnerships with business can be very sustainable and of high value.  Such support generally comes in the form of new skills and capacity.
