State your case

If you are launching a campaign it is useful to have a briefing sheet - a
statement of your aims with supporting facts and information to back
up your case. You can use it:

  • As the basis for your campaign leaflets.
  • To help you write press releases or letters.
  • To give you the facts at your fingertips when giving media
    interviews.
  • As background information for anyone who wants to support or
find out more about your campaign.

The Resource Centre State your case information sheet provides guidance on how to produce a briefing sheet.
