National Statistics

The Office for National Statistics collects, compiles and publicises all the Government's statistical information. It was created in 1996 whne the Central Statistical Office and the Office of Population Censuses and surveys were merged.

It has on online resource which provides statistical information as a UK snapshot, by neighbourhood, by economy and from the most recent census.

The Department of Health publishes a range of statistics including on health care, workforce, public health, and social care.

The Department for Children, Schools and Families produces a range of statistics, including on: education and skills; employment, jobs and careers; health, well being and care and science, technology and innovation. 

And, looking a little further afield, you can find a range of statistics about Europe on the EU Statistics website. From trade to transport or economy to energy, it is a useful resource.
