Equalities Resource Pack

This CD Pack is a clear, practical and useful guide for community
groups supporting them to improve how open, safe, accessible and inclusive
their groups, meetings, events, activities and processes are.

There are three main sections:

1.
An explanation of what 'equalities' is about, why it is
important, the aims, and key tips.

2.
Practical guides on venues, events, equalities policies,
buildings and work with volunteers; definitions and the language of equalities.

3.
Information, statistics and useful contacts on ‘communities
of interest’ locally and nationally.

The Pack can be used for funding bids, training, developing
policies and action plans, templates, practical tips, how to gauge success and
helping to find sources of support locally and nationally.

Each section is 3-6 pages long so it can be easily printed off for
training and other uses. Links to other sections in the Pack, websites or email
addresses are used throughout so that people can jump directly to other sources
of support and information.
