Choosing a legal structure that suits your group

Choosing the right legal structure for your group will make sure that you can focus on achieving the aims of your group as effectively as possible. The Resource Centre Routemap is an online flowchart which takes you through a series of questions to help you decide which types of legal structure would be best suited to your group.

You will then be directed to the Resource Centre Information Sheets that will give you more detail on:

  • Community and voluntary groups - finding a legal structure to suit your group

  • Not for Profit Organisations - a guide to legal structures

  • Charity Registration
