Affordable Equipment for community and voluntary groups

The Resource Centre has a wide range of equipment for hire,
to help groups run successful fetes, fairs, meetings and other events.
Our equipment is only available to not-for-profit community or
voluntary groups based in Sussex. We cannot hire equipment to
businesses or individuals, unless they are running a fundraising event
for a charity or good cause.

Equipment for Hire from other suppliers

Beachcomber
is a database of resources and contacts that groups in Brighton and
Hove, East and West Sussex have found useful for their work. For
example:

• if you are organising a jumble sale, Beachcomber can tell you where to find trestle tables
• if you run a playscheme, we have a list of specialist insurance companies
• if you need to put together a presentation or training course we can help you find an overhead projectors
• or if you are having a street party you can use Beachcomber to search for a bouncy castles
