Getting help with your accounts

The Resource Centre can carry out the end of year Independant Examination of Accounts for the following groups:

• Brighton & Hove Council tenants' associations
• Groups based in areas of social housing and run by local people
• Groups based in minority ethnic communities
• Groups run by disabled people

You need to phone them in advance on 01273 606160 to make sure they can provide this service for your group and to book in your accounts.

If you are a larger organisation and need to know: when you must prepare an annual report and accounts, or the financial thresholds for having the accounts externally audited or examined, or the filing of your report and accounts with the Charity Commission, please refer to booklet Charity Reporting and Accounting: The essentials (CC15).
