Access review of Community Centres
A pilot project intended to utilise the expertise of local disability infrastructure agency Brighton and Hove Federation of Disabled People and develop their services for wider benefit. BHFeds already provide an Accessible City Guide, which asks volunteers to review access to venues and services across the city.
This project builds on this existing project to
- Provide a focus on community buildings (those which the VCS use)
- Help syndicate the content more widely, so that disability information can be attached to venue and service information wherever it appears.
We aim to test this through integration with VisitBrighton.com and/or The Community Base Venue Search.
