Are you part of a community organisation that deals with issues of inequality?
Would you like to raise awareness of your organisation's work?
Could you help other groups better understand your community?
Do you have an interest in equality and diversity training?
The first meeting of the Equalities Network will be held on the Thursday 11th December, Jubilee Library Learning Centre, 5.30-7.30pm, Food and drinks provided.
Dietary requirement and access needs can be arranged if notified at least a week in advance.
Benefits of Getting Involved include:
- Strengthen your group's understanding of equality and diversity issues
- Raise awareness of the issues that matter to your community
- Work with others to effect change - influence local decision makers
- Work collaboratively and seek funding solutions
This meeting will be accessible and informal, you do not need to have advanced knowledge of the above issues in order to participate. We especially welcome new organizations and smaller groups who may not have previously attending CVSF events. If you are aware of any individuals or groups who may be interested in this event, I would appreciate if you could pass this invitation to them.
Your voice and experience tells this story and open routes to dialogue and awareness raising. Come and join the discussions and see what you could do to help make a change.
