Office space available at Community Base
We have just received the following information from Community Base...
If you are involved with a community and voluntary group you might be interested to know that some office space is becoming available at Community Base in the very near future. We offer community and voluntary groups very affordable, high quality, city centre accommodation in a building alongside dozens of other such groups.
You can find out what having an office at Community Base involves at www.communitybase.org/information. If you are interested in getting an office at Community Base now or in the future or just want more information about what we offer please email me at director@communitybase.org or phone me on (01273) 234047.
A local charity recently told me they thought they wouldn't be able to move into Community Base because they got government funding. I don't know where that rumour comes from, but it's not true - pretty well every group at Community Base gets government funding. We do not provide accommodation to for-profit or government (council, NHS, etc) organisations and don't let charities sublet the space they rent here to such groups but that's it.
Thanks.
