** Creating Reports and Graphs using Excel**

Cost: £20/£50/£90 - see below for details of fees What makes a good presentation? This highly practical and enjoyable course starts with the basics - what's the story you want to tell and how are you going to tell it? You'll create and deliver a real presentation, and learn how to:
- Engage and maintain audience interest
- Add speaker¹s notes
- Work with Master slides
- Insert pictures and change the design of your slides
- Add animation and control how slides appear on the screen
- Print your presentation
- Compare notes with other people's presentations
Learner skills pre-requisites: No previous experience of PowerPoint is necessary, but learners must have some experience of using a computer.

** Fundraising and the Internet **
Date: Thursday 24th May
Time: 12.30pm - 2.30pm

Cost: £10/£20/£50
Fundraising is a subtle blend of hard work, good research and perseverance. This course will help you improve your fundraising skills; find information to support your fundraising; and show you how the internet can be used to raise funds.
We will look at:
- sources of up to date guidance about fundraising techniques,
- sources of supporting data and statistics
- and how to locate potential funders.
We will also look at ways of sharing tips, news and experiences of fundraising across the regional and national voluntary sector. Learner skills pre-requisites: Experience of using the internet.

FEES
SCIP's fee structure reflects our commitment to supporting smaller community organisations. Fees for smaller groups are subsidised through our partnership with Friends Centre. Fees must be paid in advance. We can send
invoices and receipts on request.
Creating Reports and Graphs using Excel:
Small voluntary groups (with 0 - 2 paid staff) = £20
Larger community groups (with 3 or more paid staff) = £50
Businesses and public sector = £90
Fundraising and the Internet:
Small voluntary groups (with 0 - 2 paid staff) = £10
Larger community groups (with 3 or more paid staff) = £20
Businesses and public sector = £50
CANCELLATIONS
Places are non refundable. In the event of SCIP cancelling a course at short notice course fees will be used as payment for an alternative course, or may be refunded in full.
ACCESSIBILITY
All courses take place at Community Base, Queens Road, Brighton. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Please contact SCIP if you have any special requirements and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our courses are provided in partnership with Friends Centre and operate within the Adult Education Inspectorate's quality framework, which assures the quality of the training you will receive. At every training workshop you will be given the opportunity to complete an evaluation form to identify what was good and what could be improved. If you are unhappy with any course we will offer you a place on a different course, or a refund.
