Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation 2009 Funding Round Now Open to Application

The Foundation is a national charity supporting the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.Registered charities in the UK that support hospitals and hospices are eligible to apply. No upper or lower limit of grant specified: the Trustees award grants in amounts and distribution entirely at their discretion. Projects which are not funded directly by the NHS and that seek to improve the quality of life of sick children will be considered. Examples of the types of project the Foundation is looking to support include: arts, music, play and entertainment programmes to stimulate young minds and divert attention away from illness, providing welcoming and accessible environments and surroundings, designed specifically for children in a fun and engaging way. Grants are distributed on an annual basis. The deadline for applications for 2009 funding is 8 December 2008.
