Screen South Digital Shorts 2008

Applications are now being accepted from the South East's film makers for the Digital Shorts scheme which will fund a minimum of six films, up to a maximum budget of ?10,000 per film.The scheme will operate an open genre policy in order to encourage as many diverse entries as possible. Films can be live-action drama, animation or documentary. Any of the following will be eligible to apply: A writer/director and writer team who can team up with a production team/company during the first development phase if shortlisted. A writer/director or director and writer team with a producer/production company attached. A writer/director or a director and writer team attached. Writers and directors who have written or directed a digital short through any Digital Shorts scheme in the UK prior to 2008 and meet the other eligibility criteria. The 2008/09 Digital Shorts application deadline is 24 October 2008 (5 pm).
