Research on the Transmission of Drinking Cultures: Media Influence

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has launched two new Calls for Proposals to fund research and development projects under a number of priority themes, each of which has its own committee.A maximum of ?100,000 is available under this Call. The Foundation wishes to fund one primary research project on the influence of the media on young people aged 14?18 years and their drinking cultures. The research project should focus on the media most popular with young people. The following areas of media are expected to be included: Television. Magazines. Radio. Internet. Grants are available to any individual or organisation in the UK providing they are capable of delivering the research. The deadline for proposals is 24 September 2008.
