Federation of Small Businesses

The achievements and importance of the UK?s small business sector is celebrated through this annual award scheme. Small businesses that are well run, highly regarded by both employees and customers and that preferably involve the community are invited to apply to these awards.Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 21 November 2008 in London. Six Area Champions, a Young Entrepreneur and the Most Promising New Business will be chosen and each will receive ?1,000 to benefit the business. A National Champion will be selected from the Area Champion winners and will receive ?10,000 for the business. The 2008 closing date for receipt of applications is 28 March 2008.
