2008-09 sees ?11 million available under this programme which supports projects working to deliver the outcomes under Every Child Matters. Two types of funding are available:? Strategic grants for projects operating over three government regions are available for capacity building activities, networking support and specialist services ? Project grants support innovative approaches (across two regions) to opening up services to hard to reach groups such as young people with disabilities, or young people from ethnic minority and faith communities. Registered charities are eligible to apply for grants (levels currently undefined) and partnership applications are particularly welcome. The deadline for Expressions of Interest is 1 October.
