Defra Greener Living Fund

DEFRA LAUNCH GREENER LIVING FUNDDEFRA has launched a new fund to promote greener living - the Greener Living Fund (GLF). A total of ?6 million is being made available to third sector organisations to implement programmes that influence pro-environmental behaviours in the wider population. The Fund aims to help individuals and communities in England live more sustainably, thereby reducing their carbon footprint and reducing pressure on natural resources. Funding will be offered to a small number of national delivery partners. The minimum level of grant awarded will be ?200,000 over two years. The deadline for submissions of first stage applications 16 December 2008.
